The Box is a retail space and event platform based in the heart of Hackney. Working with contemporary and luxury brands across fashion, homeware and lifestyle, it reframes the sample sale as a premium experience, without compromising brand value.

The founders approached us at a moment of growth, looking to refresh the brand and clarify its role. Through the process, it became clear there was an opportunity to reposition The Box – not just as a destination, but as a trusted brand partner that could stand confidently in its own right, while keeping other brands firmly in the spotlight.
Central to the identity is a white label logo system – a direct expression of the model at the heart of the business. It gives The Box a consistent presence, while deliberately making space for partner brands to lead. A flexible framework underpins the system, allowing it to adapt from one partnership to the next.

Devised with adaptability in mind, the colour palette features five distinct colour spaces, each with a light and dark pairing. This allows the identity to be tailored to different contexts while retaining a thread of consistency.


The white label also comes to life in physical form. Seen across tote bags made from deadstock fabric supplied by partner brands, it extends The Box’s commitment to keeping fashion waste out of landfill.
The work also brought structure to The Box’s offer, enabling clearer conversations with brands at different moments. We framed this as ‘Inside The Box’, for sales at the Hackney showroom, and ‘Outside The Box’, for sales at bespoke locations.
The re-brand has been incredibly worthwhile and we’re absolutely delighted with the final outcome. From the logo, typography and colour palette to a completely new website, it has given us far more confidence in how we present ourselves. It was the first major step we took in evolving the business and has helped us better reflect the sophisticated, well-established service we now offer to brands. Our image feels much clearer, more professional and far more aligned with the sector we operate in and the partners we work with.
