Le Biau

16th Century Modern

Le Biau is a modern, boutique chambres d’hôte (bed and breakfast), established and run by a British family in a stunningly renovated 16th Century farmhouse in the South of France.

With almost 500 years of history to draw on, our identity celebrated its past; whilst preparing the business for the future.

Photography was key to communicating the spectacular grounds, interiors, and experience. Exploiting the stunning French light, our photography brings a touch of contemporary to the traditional.

From the caligraphic script-style logomark, to the 500 year-old French typeface, to the limestone-inspired colour palette—the building’s historic past informs every element of the identity.

The family’s personality shines through the tone of voice and identity, such as this illustration of the entrance, drawn by the owner.

By perfectly capturing the mood and tone of the residence, our identity enabled the owners to market the property to an international and cultured clientele.
